Large format camera maker Gandolfi has closed

As of October 13th this year Edward Hill resigned from Gandolfi & Sons and closed the business. This means the oldest English camera manufacturer won’t be making any cameras any longer. Founded in 1885 by Louis Gandolfi and then passed on to his sons in 1928, it was sold to someone out of the family a few years before the last son died.
